2011 Summer Intern Testimonial

My Internship at BBC Inc. has been one of the most important learning experiences towards my career. When searching for an internship the summer before my senior year at Baldwin-Wallace I wanted to find a place that was a challenge, paid well, and somewhere I could enjoy working through my summer "off" from school. BBC, Inc. perfectly fit that description and more. The culture in the office was a mixture of great friendships along with the competitive nature of sales. In a sense, my co-workers reminded me a lot of my college football teammates in all the right ways. I gained invaluable experience within the three months at BBC Inc. and greatly improved my people skills as well as my resume. I also got to participate in some administrative tasks like interviewing and evaluating potential candidates for the company. Regardless of the resume and skill improvements, I had a blast this summer and made some life long friends.

Entry Level Employee Testimonial

Approximately 1 year ago, this was the state of my life: 34, living my life day to day, working a dead end job. Obviously, when you find yourself in that situation you take some time to examine the life decisions that got you there. Some people make that hard examination and do nothing but lament the past. Some decide to quit existing as a monument to wasted potential and change their direction. I took the latter option and decided to put in a resume at the sales and marketing company a friend of mine was working at. One year later I've found myself finally with a career, not a job, optimism about where my life is going, and the satisfaction that comes with working hard to overcome the challenges that arise in the pursuit of real goals with genuine people who I feel are legitimately trying to help me get to those goals.

Past Employee Testimonial

After I finished a college internship program in Disney World in Orlando, FL I returned home to the Northeast Ohio area. I was on the job hunt for quite a while before getting an offer with Better Business Consultants. Even though I didn’t have a ton of experience in sales and marketing I was able to be pretty successful because of the training they gave me. Lots of those skills and disciplines I learned there carried over to the employer I work with now. Because of that, I was promoted to a higher position within a few months when it usually takes a year or two to accomplish that. I was more than happy to write a testimonial for the company because they took a chance on me, but more importantly I am still close friends with a lot of people there.

First Job Out of College Testimonial

I moved out to Cleveland by myself a few weeks after finishing my undergrad at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. I left my family and friends behind to start my adventure of finding that first job out of school. With the economy not being so great when I graduated, my search took me to Cleveland and BBC Inc.. Everyone at BBC made me feel at home and my co-workers became my new family. During my time at BBC I learned so many different sales and marketing techniques and how to handle crisis in business. I gained valuable management and sales experience. In a matter of a few weeks I got promoted because of my performance and was attending management training meetings. While the company was very professional we were able to have fun in and out of the office as well. I strongly feel the experience I gained from this company helped me get my assistant manager position with the company I am with today closer to my family back in Illinois. I wouldn't have even gotten an interview for the position without BBC taking a chance on a recent college grad and giving me a chance to gain some experience.

Past Management Trainee Testimonial

I don’t know where to begin when explaining the experience and further business education I received while working at Better Business Consultants, Inc.. Management took a chance on a young graduate out of Bowling Green State University with virtually no professional experience. During college I played four years of football for the Falcons so getting internships and other working experiences was tough. They gave me a chance and I learned a lot about what it takes to run a business on the day to day. It just so happened to be a bit more complex than the “business world” I learned about in school. I learned to value relationships in and outside of business by way of honesty, integrity and character. The experience helped me secure my current management position I have today. Regardless of where I am now, I still can say with confidence that I made some lifelong friends at BBC Inc..

Past Summer Intern Testimonial

During the Spring semester of my freshmen year at Cornell, I was looking for a summer internship that would give me a great learning experience as well as to help me make some money. Accepting an internship at Better Business Consultants, Inc. was one of the best decisions I could've made. Not only did I acquire sales experience, I also learned a lot about myself. Working at BBC Inc. also helped me to land another sales internship the following summer. What really set the company apart are the people I was working with. To this day I still keep in touch with many of them and we learned a lot from each other. Whether people are looking for sales experience, to make some money, or a new challenge I would highly recommend taking a look at BBC Inc..
